LiSTie to Exhibit at Highly-Functional Material Week Osaka

LiSTie, a certified venture of the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST), is committed to the early social implementation of the world’s first ultra-high-purity lithium extraction technology, “LiSMIC.”

We are pleased to announce our participation in the Aomori Prefecture booth at the Highly-Functional Material Week Osaka – 6th Sustainable Material Expo (SUSMA), where we will showcase our technology.

At the Aomori booth, LiSTie will present the “LiSMIC Unit,” a containerized lithium extraction system capable of achieving 99.99% ultra-high-purity lithium in a single pass from a wide range of lithium sources, including used lithium-ion batteries, salt lakes, and ores.

In addition to lithium recovery for lithium-ion battery (LIB) materials, we will also introduce our proprietary technology that enables the enrichment of lithium-6—a critical isotope for future fusion energy applications—from its natural abundance of approximately 7.6% to as high as 90% using LiSMIC.
